How To Reset Your Android On Factory Settings?



Reset factory settings also called Master reset. It is a software restore of any smartphone or electronic device which reset it to the original settings given by manufacturer and formats all the information and data. There is a number of reasons to restore factory settings. Maybe your smartphone is running slow by cache and junk files or loaded with many useless apps. Maybe while scrolling your homepage or home menu, you face frequent freezing and stuttering or maybe you want to sell your smartphone. You should always reset your phone while selling your smartphone because it clears your entire history and you do not want any stranger to look into your data or history.

Reset Your Android On Factory Settings?

1.       Open Your Settings.
2.       Tap System and then Reset. Provide your password or PIN if needed.
3.       Tab Factory Data Reset. To erase complete, tab “Erase Everything”.
4.       After resetting, your smartphone will restart automatically.

Reset Smartphone If It’s Locked?

1.       Firstly, switch off your smartphone.
2.       Press and hold the “Power” button with “Volume Down” or “Camera” button until your smartphone will switch on.
3.       This method gets you into system settings. By using up and down volume button, you can scroll. Scroll until you find Factory reset option.
4.       Press Power button to select. Your smartphone will switch on automatically after applying restore factory settings.

How To Reset Smartphone Without Losing Data?

If you want to restore factory settings without losing your data then make a backup of all of your data and synchronize it with a Gmail account or store it in your SD card. By creating a backup, you would not lose your bookmarks, contacts, messages, dictionary and calendar etc. Then, reset your smartphone and log into same Gmail account. Your settings will be restored by your permission. Or insert the SD card in which you stored backup and just run the backup. In the meantime, you find all your contacts and bookmarks in your phone.
