As we know that Apple computers unveiled their first phone in 2007. This phone was announced by Steve Jobs in Macworld convention and named it as ‘iphone’ (1st generation). After the ten years of prosperity, Apple is celebrating their 10th anniversary and they have a great news for their devoted users as Tim Cook will introduce ‘iphone 8’ and ‘iphone x’ in California on September 12, 2017.

What’s new in upcoming models?

These models are not like other ordinary phones. They have many newly introduced features like facial recognition, wireless charging, edge to edge display etc. But they have same typical shape/design and this time, there is no ‘home key’ button and fingerprint scanner of course. You will have face recognition feature instead.

How face recognition works?

Face recognitions works as algorithm analyze the patterns of your face as sometimes this scanner recognize the shape of your nose, eyes or your lips. It saves the whole image of your face in memory and this image helps in recognizing your face again and again. This recognition technology seems so much simpler but it’s not as simple as you are thinking. We hope that apple will utilize their best efforts to make it more reliable and safe.

Edge-to-edge Display

A well-known company ‘Samsung’ is already using edge-to-edge technology. So, it’s not a unique feature nowadays but apple is introducing this technology for the first time. And it’s not confirmed that these edges will be curved or not? But a leaked picture of iPhone 8 shows that it’s a plain display. Now let’s see what happen today.

Mobility of Wireless Charging

I think wireless charging is not as ideal as we are thinking. Everyone wants to feel free from these annoying charging cables and limited boundary to use their phone while charging but make sure that you will have to plug the wireless charging adapter into a socket by cable and it has a limited boundary of charging signals too. It will not provide you ease and satisfaction I think.
